We have to be clear: We do not want to see coffins covered with flags or the young people of our country been sacrificed on the altar of immoral economic growth.
What we do want instead is a welfare state. What we do want are decent wages and pensions.
We want spendings to be cut from over-armament and military equipment and be added to the income of farmers, doctors, teachers, nurses, the income of every worker.
We want the National Health Insurance policies and infrastractures to be strengthened.
We want a solution to the housing problem.
What kind of security can we talk about, when the primary sector disappears? The entire society is threatened by a food crisis.
What security are we talking about when the region of Attica declares a state of emergency due to water scarcity?
We want resilience projects for our society, water resources management strategy and the environment our children deserve.
We steadily believe in all of this. We fought for all of this. We will continue to fight for all of this and we will definitely continue to fight for peace.
We are not going to become patriots, so that the shares of the big war industries can rise.
